Star Wars episode I
Ok so every year I try and come up with a costume that would be cool. It started getting insane when I met my coworker Jonatha. She taught me how to sew to make the Queen Amidala costume from Star Wars episode I. She even showed me how to make a belly dancing costume first in preparation of the QA costume.

I know you guys are thinking man, she's a star wars nut. The costume was pretty and I like Star Wars but I am no fanatic. I do not know who was actually in the C3PO outfit or in Darth Vader's outfit. I do however like watching the movies. The costume even had lights at the bottom and I wore it to the Smithsonian when they had an exhibit.
I got asked... "What nationality is your costume?"
I giggled. I wore the costume from the metro to the museum so I got a lot of inquiring looks.
Electra Woman and Dyna Girl
Anyway... then there were the costume contests at work. My friend Jody Thomas and I created costumes Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (I was Dyna Girl).
We lost but it was fun
A blonde and brunette duo is what we were looking for and we found that combo. I made a wrist device out of an electrical box and cut out space for the party poppers that I put into them to make an "explosive" device of streamers and confetti.

The following year we did Kill Bill's movie
Continuing our blonde/brunette female duo we created "The Bride" and "GoGo".
Jody got a pirate blade (plastic) and I created a mace using tin foil, plastic chains and a lot of silver paint (fyi..when you paint something silver make sure you do a clear coat otherwise you get a lot of silver on your hands). I know I could have gotten a real mace but I'm a bit of a klutz so that would have hurt. Jody and I went on the stage (at work) yes, they had a stage. We re-enacted the scene of the movie where the two characters fight. We didn't win the company contest but we got second place for our department's contest.
The Prize
A dinner between the two of us. :)
The next year Jody's dad got sick and I decided to make the costume for us. Brian Vargish, another coworker wanted to do Team America. How did this come about? Well he suggested it and I was making fun of the character Sarah and how she was clairvoiant..(her character is always wrong) and while I was joking around I walked into a metal poll, slid down the wall I bounced into. It was then we knew we had to do these costumes. I looked through the promotions and researched it like I always do and we got jackets.
I and my band of volunteers :) stenciled, cut them, painted, sewed and we got four jackets. Unfortunately, Jody had to be away and couldn't wear the jackets and the outfit I created for her so the foursome was never fully lived out to its full potential. I need an idea for this year... sigh. Any ideas? :)

Unfortunately, I do not have all of them.
The men’s blue camoflauge shirts were from Walmart pajamas. My pink camoflauge shirt/pants I painted them using fabric paint since I didn’t want to sew them. The jackets I painted as well as my pink boots. I would suggest printing out all the posters you can find online and start doing research on the costumes. Here are some pictures of me working on the costumes. Team America

how about costumes for the characters from “Not Another Teen Movie”. You could designate your friends to the correspondign character that best suits them.

If you do have any idea on how to look scary during your Halloween party, a costume manufacturer could really be a help. So don’t be left out with any scary costumes.
