I’ve never tried kayaking before…

And today seemed the perfect time to do this.  We went to the Thompson Boat Center, just off the Rock Creek Parkway. A double kayak, btw. There was more water in the boat when I was paddling and I had tobail the water. Apparently, the boats inside of Key Bridge and Memorial bridge cannot go very fast so they do not create a wake (water waves) that would cause a teeny kayak like these to tip over and flood.
