Once upon a time

John Allsopp, Maxine Sherrin, Derek Featherstone and Dave Shea put together the Web Directions North conference in Vancouver in January of 2007. They invited speakers from around the globe and the geeks that attended far and wide also got the added bonus of skiing or snowboarding depending on their fancy. The conference was a ton of fun plus educational for those that were lucky enough to attend ( I got the honor of being stage manager to keep the speakers and attendees on time.) This coming January 28-Feb 2, 2008 it will be taking place in Vancouver and then when then the conference is over it’ll be up to Whistler for some fun on the snow. Standing up or down that depends on your snowboarding/skiing skills. ;)Or if your not up for either there’s always Jeremy Keith’s favorite which was the tubing.
