What 5 things would you take on a stranded island?

Once upon a time two designers went to lunch…
One was a designer named Srivalli and the other was me.
We started a chat about how our laptops are our prized possesions. How I would be lost without it and most likely have separation anxiety. I love this laptop.
It got me thinking about what 5 things I would take if we were stranded on an island. Valli said she would definitely take her laptop.
I would ask for:
1. Broadband: If I needed to research how to figure out which fish was edible I could look for it online, or how to create a hut with a roof that could withstand rain. :)
2. 17” Powerbook: it has my music, I could post on to flickr, I could draw and send emails, contact friends via skype, I could look up google maps and figure out where I was?
3. Digital camera, currently Canon A95 (with batteries of course, and the waterproof case): update photos of me being on an island trying to “relax” stranger things have happened.. (Gary that one was for you :P ) Document the island I was stranded on, the research I did while on it..etc.
4. Card reader: To upload the photos of course
5. My sketchbook: cause I would need to doodle when the sun was too bright to see the screen, and well… sand and water aren’t friends to my laptop duh!
Yes, I’m a geek. :P
